My original idea was to let the fields flow together and let the user input the delimiters around 'Server', 'Host', Fail Over Host', and 'Port'. Thanks for pointing out that that was a bad idea. I've written the code so that IT places the delimiters when the fields are concatenated. When I was checking out your problem I had a hard time remembering what delimiters went where. > > I did not see where the program finds the mysql/bin > programs if they are > not in the path - or why they would not be in the > path since all that > stuff is in my path from a terminal? You didn't tell me which version of 'Data Manipulator' you were using. In the lastes on posted at http://database-viewer.sourceforge.net/ under the file menu you can set that directory my using the 'Set Tools Directory'. I will automatically save that information for the user in the next release. > it should be able to export sql queries to comma > separated values (CSV), > as this would be immensely helpful while not > terribly difficult to do. I will add that to the next release. But I think it should be semi-colon, carriage-return separated. If you think I should do both tell me. > please add ToolTipText over the Connect screen > fields or labels if > anything would help, such as the default port > assignment (if known) for > the database type. I don't have ready access to MS Access or SQL Server. If you know of someone who wants to join the project on sourceforge.net and work on that let me know. > thanks, > > David > > I would like it if you could join sourceforge.net. That way all bug reports could go through the bug report mailing list I have. Thanks. And thanks for reporting the bug and suggestions. It is well appreciated. ---------------------- Clayburn W.
