The DAT project is now released! It's a bit rough, but it works: you can read/write a DAT using a audio-capable DDS drive. It reads/writes the audio data without any interpolation or modification - straight from the tape to your drive (or vice versa). Much better than going through a soundcard, where you could possibly lose data to resampling (or definately lose data, if you don't have a digital-in soundcard).
