Hi, I am cloning the frames with a mill and bending procedures. I am cutting the frames to the specifications of the 2D model files with less than a 0.1mm error margin. But after bending, the frames are not even close to the expected size.
For instance, the FR07_S101 should have a clearance of 30mm between sides, but after a proper bending I get a clearance of about 29mm.

It seems that the 2D models don't account correctly for the bending.
I am rebuilding the cutting plans by reverse engineering the 3D models, the FR07_S101 has to by cut about 2mm wider to get a bent frame that matches the 3D model and Robotis's PDF specs.

I have posted a blog about this at:

Has this been fixed in the source files? Also where are the most current set of files kept?

This is an interesting project for our Maker Lab to try.

    Thanks
