#1 Installation error: Regitry install failed.

Installation error
I am using a PowerBook G4 (256RAM, 500MHz, 16GB
HDD) with Mac OS X 10.3.1 (Panther & XCode tools),
and system sotware was updated as Nov-30-2003.

I executed the DarWine intructions as README details in
QUICK START section.

and get a "Registry install failed." message.

Bellow a Installation resume (Prompts & Answers):

1) We need to install as root user, do you want us to
build wine, ´su root´and install wine? ==> yes

2) Performing ´make install´as root to install binariers,
enter root password: ==> root´s password gived (and
confirmed root user is proper activated)

Error Messages previos to next question:

./tools/mkinstalldirs -m 755 /usr/local/share/aclocal

dyld: /usr/local/bin/wine Undefined symbols:

./tools/wineinstall: line 349: [: to many arguments

3) Create local config file ~/.wine/config? ==> yes

4) Windows was not found on your system, so I assume
you want
a Wine-only installation. Am I correct? ==> yes

5) configuring Wine without Windows.
Some fake windows directories must be created, to hold
anu .ini files, DLLs,
start menu entries, and other things your applications
may need to install.
Where would you line your fake C drive to be placed?
(default is /Users/{user}/c) ==> Enter key pressed

Created /Users/{user}/.wine/config using default Wine
You probably want to review the file, thought.

Any help will be appreciated.

you probably should have read the notes here (not really easy to
reach, I should have updated the README):
    Here is an excerpt
    "You have to do
    > bash % export MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.3
    in a bash shell or:
    > tcsh % setenv MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET 10.3
in a tcsh" before building wine.
    Now you have to do:
    make clean && make
so that the dlls will be compiled with the proper flag.
Have fun and feel free to help :)
