With Frets on Fire out there to be played, I'd love to be able to use my GH3 controller with my Mac to play it. I read somewhere the GH3 guitar controller uses the same interface/something or other as the classic controller, so it may be a two-birds-with-one-stone sort of situation.

Maybe because the guitar goes attached to the wiimote like the nunchuk, it works in a near way.

It has "the strings" with one signal( up and down work the same)
It has the five colors(the I don't know)
It has + and -, maybe Z and C, like the nunchuk signals
It has the analog stick like the nunchuk

Maybe when youare playing the directions of the analog stick are blocked and the five colors and the string thorw those signals.

I've tried DarwiinRemote with the guitar already, doesn't work a bit.

I think it does use the same interface as the classic controller, from what i've observed using it at my cousin's house.
Try with version 0.7, just assign the number keys (1-7) to each classic controller button, and then open up textedit and start hitting buttons on the guitar… you'll figure out which ones are which!
