Hey Hiroaki
I don't know Objective C (but have read about it a bit) nor Cocoa nor have I done anything with XCode but I am a programmer and can probably find my way around the code if pointed in the right direction. I already got it compiling last night and set some breakpoints and such. If you need me to try anything out on my Powerbook that may help you since you don't have easy access to a PPC machine, let me know.

Running DarwiinRemote v.0.5 on PPC using PowerMac G4 450MHz Cube with external DLink DBT-120 USB-adapter.
Using only Wiimote without anything connected.
Accellerometers in Wiimote works perfectly, with graphs and motion-mouse-mode.
Buttons on Wii works perfectly.
Force feedback does not work, IR-mouse does not work. Pushing the buttons for force feedback or IR-mode disconnects the Wiimote and I have to press 1 and 2 again to reconnect it. Same thing when trying to control the LEDs.

Ok. Please disregard my latest post here. sorry. I got IR-mouse mode to work on my G4 Cube now. :-)
I did as follows:
Make sure DarwiinRemote is not running.
Turn on the Wii.
Wait till the Wii has connected to the Wiimote.
Start DarwiinRemote.
Remove battery cover and press Sync (do not press 1&2).
Push the IR-sensor button in DarwiinRemote.
Push 2 on the remote to activate IR-mouse.
Works great.
However, ForceFeedback and LED-control is not working. Gives WiiRemoteDiscovery error (-536870207) and other connection-problems.

Aha.
Opening Bluetooth settings and deleting the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 solved the connection-errors. And connecting using synk-button rather than the 1+2 while having it connected to the Wii makes all features, including LED and Rumble work now.
Excellent.

I can report the same behavior on a 15" PPC powerbook. IR mouse does not work in version 0.5 It has, however, worked once in version 0.4.
Similar to other problems people were having, in version 0.5 clicking the led light checkboxes, or the IR sensor or force feedback buttons result in loss of connection to the wiimote. Also, the only graphs shown in 0.5 are for the motion sensor.

Is your sensor bar on? Make sure you follow these steps:
first, get your wiimote connected to darwiinremote and (otherwise) working.
Then, turn your wii on (this needs to be after connecting your 'mote to your mac, otherwise the 'mote will connect to the wii.)
Once the wii is on and at the main menu, ensure that the sensor bar is plugged in and such, and then put it atop or below your mac's screen.
Now it should work.
Unless you really do have a bug…

It is not the same as bug #1622395 because IR has never worked. LEDs, force graphs, and motion mouse mode does work.
Thank you for your time and effort!

You do have a sensor bar set up, right? Without the Wii sensor bar (or a homemade version), the IR sensor has no idea where it is pointed at.

Yes, I do have a sensor bar and it is being powered. I have it working on my linux computer using different software.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your reports.
If you still have troubles, please report your conditions.
- Force feedback works or not
- Graphs are shown or not
- LED can be controlled or not
- IR works or not
Thanks in advance,
Hiroaki
