The main reason why there has been no update for DAMIAN for some time is that there are currently no known bugs to fix. We have been using the program internally since before its release and in its current state it should just work as it is. Aside from fixing bugs, an update could be done by integrating the latest versions of third party software and databases. It should be trivial for most users to do this themselves, and probably many already have. Nevertheless, I will try to take care of this in the coming months. Another reason for updates would be to extend the functionality, increase usability, shorten the runtime or reduce the required computing resources and so on.
