#49 XHTML to 2.02 fileset - footnote

I have an XHTML file with footnote markup [1]. When I run it through the Daisy 2.02 Text-Only Fileset Generator (from XHTML) I get the following Validator error for each footnote:

[INPUT] - !ERROR! - Attribute "bodyref" must be declared for element type "span". - file:/T:/DAISY%20textbook%20project/Princess%20Diana/PrincessDiana.html[102,319]

And the whole process fails. But the attribute "bodyref" is declared for each noteref, e.g.:

The Queen's most important homes are at Buckingham Palace <span class="noteref" bodyref="#fn_0001">1</span> in London, and Windsor Castle <span class="noteref" bodyref="#fn_0002">2</span> just to the west of London. But she also spends time at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, and at Sandringham House, which is in the east of England.</p>
