DCL 0.1.1 is here and contains a lot of changes
since the 0.1 release. Many classes have been
improved, updated etc so it's highly recommended
for all DCL users to grab this new version.

I decided to upload an early version of the beta code since it contains a number of new and exiting features. Though GNU/Linux development has been slow lately and the make files are not up-to-date with the current source so a clean Windows release it is this time. Proper make files and full GNU/Linux support will, of course, be included in the first stable beta version!

A lot of new features has been added to the SVN
trunk lately so I think it's a good idea give
you DCL out there a brief summary of what's going on. The new features include:
* A shiny new Sscript Manager for the Squirrel script language!
* A LOT more useful math functions and a much improved vector classes.
* Improved thread/mutex classes
* A Window class for creating a render window (currently Windows only).
* A simple task manager.
* Improved test cases.
* A class for loading symbols from .dll and .so files at runtime.
* A nearly completed network system for TCP/IP connections. Support for UDP connections will follow shortly.
* A neat Timer class (currently Windows only).

I'm happy to inform you that I've got quite a
few mails from people who wants to help develop
DCL in different ways. So, I decided put even more
features (like networking, better documentation,
better GNU/Linux support and more!) into the upcoming release of the first DCL Alpha.
Though I think it's a good idea to let you,
the users, see a few of the new features right
now so I uploaded the last pre-alpha a few minutes
ago. Hope you like it!
