DaBaBix is a Zabbix database monitoring agent. It was based on postbix and orabbix, but has been recreated and improved to monitor different database types (currently postgre/mysql/mssql/oracle) and instances with a single daemon instance based on apache daemons on unix and windows.

REDESIGN 0.5.1:

• Switched to maven
• Recreated init and install scripts
• systemd support added

REDESIGN 0.5:

• Changed the original *.properties query configuration to a more flexible XML file
• Added discovery (Zabbix 2.0) and parameter support
• Drastically decreased number of queries needed to fetch values from RDBMS
