The "separate sides" function actually separates the cube from ALL cubes attached to it, rather than just a single marked side. I assume it should work instead just like the "join sides" function, only separating the specified two sides.

This feature is actually working as intended, but what is intended isn't exactly what the user would expect. What the user would reasonably expect is sort of complicated but I'm thinking about it.

When you say "single marked side", do you mean the currently selected side of the "other cube"? Or are you expecting the side to be disconnected from anything in the currently marked block?

"Separate sides" disconnects all corners (vertices) of that side from the corners of all other segments (cubes) it shares. This leads to disconnecting the entire segment from those segments.

"Solidify side" will just turn an open side leading to another segment to a solid wall. The affected side will still share its vertices with all connected segments.
