When you make your segment reminescent of a half-hexagon (like the tunnels in D1 lvl 6 - top wide bottom narrow or the opposite) and add a normal cube next to the segment, the cube will become twisted and quite deformed. Using the rotate option on the opposite wall to twist the cube back into position has unsatisfactory results, the cube is still rather ugly. I remember there not being such an issue in some earlier versions of the editor.

The shape of the cube will depend on what line you have selected in the cube you insert from; it'll try to follow that line when it generates the cube. As far as I remember, DMB2/DLE always did that. If you select one of the two parallel lines of the half-hexagon, the cube inserted should be straight (relative to those lines).

Let me know if I misunderstood the problem.

Ummm... it would seem that I have no control over this, no matter which line is selected. I'll do more tests on it and keep you updated.

OK, if you have a sample level and can specify the cube/side/selected point you're inserting from I might still be able to reproduce the problem.

Assuming I don't have some magic version of the program that never exhibits any problems. :)
