I finally managed to put the last classes together to form the alpha release. I reckon I did many more classes than I had planned from the get go. This surprised me, and made it difficult to monitor my progress. I will be doing more planning for the upcoming stages of the project in order to prvent the same chaos.
That said, I am actually quite pleased with the alpha release. There are still things that are missing, but these are mostly things for making stuff easier and doing checks in the character creation process.
All data files are still missing as well, this will be remedied in the Beta release, that will be accompanied by a data file editor so you can edit the basic data or even do your own data sets for a framework that differs completely from that given in the 3.5 SRD.
I am going away on a weeks vacation next friday - so I don't know how much work I will manage to do on the project before i get home. I hope to have at least a rough Bete schedule ready before then. But we will see.
I hope I will have a download count of at least 2 (the first I will be doing myself to check that it works). Otherwise I should probably start hyping the project... I have a dream of getting a simple home page up for the project soon, lts see how that one goes. If anyone does dl the project. I hope to receive a lot of feedback from you. I will start using the RFE_/Bugs system on SourceForge so people can see what is being done to the code.
The current code can be gotten via CVS by using the tag REL_1_0_Alpha as well. All bug fxes will have their tag updated.
