My 3 ideas for simple and powerful retouch tools:
1. Local move - move an area determined by a brush with your mouse; smooth the surrounding area of the moved part.
2. Local scale - scale an area determined by a brush; smooth the surrounding area of the scaled part.
3. Directional scale - scale a fragment of an image in the given direction.
