Hi,

Both vi and lynx have the problem here. vi uses
termcap while lynx uses terminfo.

I haven't updated the cygwin core package for a long
time. It is,

I just made a quick switch to a newer version:
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 MYSTAR 1.3.12(0.54/3/2) 2002-07-06 02:16
i686 unknown
But the problem looks the same. I will find some time
to try the latest Cygwin.
