[cxterm-devel] change screen rows (25) in cygwin

Hi,

I have this problem and don't know how to solve it. In
cxterm, the number of rows is always 25 in
applications like vi and lynx. I tried "stty rows 40"
but "stty -a" showing rows not changed. I tried 25 in
$LINES or $TERMCAP to 40. I tried modify /etc/termcap
to remove lines/vi-entry or change 25 to 40. I tried
convert the modified termcap to terminfo. None helped.
I also noticed that "resize" didn't work and timeout.
This is in Cygwin. Is it because the out-of-date
version of cygwin that I am using? Could someone point
out if there is a quick hack to modify some code in
main.c to hardcode the 40.
