Thanks for the quick reply.

Few queries, since i am a starter, what are InstantClient files? Is this
compulsory?

Also installing "pip install cx_Oracle" on my linux box will install the
latest Oracle driver and does this has the support for which i was asking?
Anything else i need to install as part of this cx_Oracle?
