[cx-oracle-users] Wheel distribution for cx_Oracle?

Hello,

I was wondering how feasible it would be to get Wheel distributions for
cx_Oracle uploaded to PyPI, and I found this thread from last year:

Did anything come of this?  What would need to be done at this point to
finish the work?
