[cx-oracle-users] Version mismatch

cx_oracle.version()

reports (10,2,...)

However, my cx_oracle version is from

cx_Oracle-5.1.2-11g.win32-py2.7.msi

So I'm surprised to see a ref. to the 10.2 client in the call above...

Is this normal ?
