[cx-oracle-users] building cx_Oracle-4.1.2 from tar ball

Hello,

I'm trying to build cx_Oracle 4.1.2 from source tar ball.
I have followed setup procedure but there is no cx_Oracle.pyd
generated; the shared library was compiled and installed successfully.

Isn't the "setup.py build" command supposed to generate both shared
library and cx_Oracle.pyd?

I'm using Linux 2.6, Oracle 10g and Python 2.4...
