[cx-oracle-users] cx oracle and python2.3

Hi cx-oracle-users,

I am new to this list so sorry if I am reposting something old. I remember to have used cx_oracle 
with pyhton 2.3 in the past but haven't found any pros/cons or compatibility documentation about it.

So my questions are:
1. Can I use cx_oracle with python2.3 (on RHEL4.6 OS)?
2. If yes what is needed to be done? (just use the source and compile it?)
3. Are there any known major drawbacks using it with python2.3? (in case the above is doable)
