[cx-oracle-users] Unable to acquire Oracle environment handle

Hi,
the problem is not systematic and I wasn't able to infere a "pattern" for it

CentoOS 5.4
oracle-instantclient-basic-10.2.0.4-1.i386.zip
oracle-instantclient-devel-10.2.0.4-1.i386.zip
cx_Oracle 5.4
Django 1.2.5

any idea?
I wolud be gratefull for any hint
