WEBCVTSA is a tool that allows users to administrate their computers [running GNU/Linux] using a form on a web page to post commands.
Lots of interesting uses:
* NO DAEMON RUNNING ON YOUR MACHINE [webcvtsa is only a client], no ports opened to control your computer!
* CREATE DYNAMICAL REVERSE SSH TUNNELS
* ERASE MAYBE DANGEROUS/ILLEGAL FILES ON YOUR MACHINE WHEREVER YOU ARE
* BLOWFISH ENCRYPTION OF COMMANDS
IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN USEFUL SCRIPTS YOU CAN SEND THEM TO ME AND I'LL RELEASE A SPECIAL PACKET CONTAINING A COLLECTION OF ALL BEST SCRIPTS. SEND THEM TO ardoino.gnu@disi.unige.it
I've just decided to release a special release of CVTSA,
CVTSA-0.2.1, that has a lot of new features, but needs to be heavly revised before adding gpgme support [support for public cryptography]. CVTSA-0.2.1 includes some very useful security ideas,........
I've just finished to rewrite CVTSA's handling of passwords. Now it uses a passwords file with a set of passwords. In that file the user can write only a password with policy LOOP and CVTSA will run as previous versions. But he can fill the file with a list of passwords, so anybody can run commands on his computer because of passwords change. When also the last password has been used with LOOP policy the set of passwords will be reused from the top; with ONEUSE policy CVTSA will exit. Now I'm starting to write support for signed emails using GPGME library.
