mod_perl

I think it would be great if the project moved over to have
the ability to everything with mod_perl. This would have
more advantages than speed and security. Currently
openbsd by default is doing chrooting to /var/www by
default. This of course breaks cvsweb/viewcvs and of course
perl. By moving all of the code to be mod_perl compliant we
could grab that entire os.

The main issue with this is that we use a LOT of memory,
expecially for big repositories, and I'm not sure how
friendly the script would be releasing it.
As for the code itself, much of it would probably run under
mod_perl quite well. ( Some caching might need to be
disabled... )
I don't have the expertise to do this on my own I'm afraid,
my mod_perl-fu is limited.
