First of all, I like to congratulate the development team for the pretty good job. We have installed CVSMonitor 0.6.3 and we are using it to inspect our project and it looks really good. It's an impressive piece of software with pretty good functionalities. And also a nice look :)
However, We did not find an important feature: branch and tag inspection. Is the addition of such feature planed to the next releases? We'd love to see informations of different branches as different topics in a module, change sets identified by branch etc.

Somebody is working periodically on branches and tag, working their way upwards from the CVS backend towards the interface. No idea on schedule for when it will end up in a release though.
All of the development team have very little time to contribute to the project. I wrote the main chunk of it while on holidays :)
All I can suggest is that if you like you can "sponsor" a feature. That is, pay a nominal amount to fund one of the more freelance orientated team members to dedicated a chunk of time to it. See http://ali.as/ for sponsoring enquiries.
