Is is possible to run cvsmail on Solaris?

I haven't had any luck trying to compiling the source code.

  Me too, i have following error:
  
  make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 11: Unexpected end of line seen

  With /usr/xpg4/bin/make
  make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 11: Unexpected end of line seen
  
  With /usr/local/bin/make (gnu version) and export CC=gcc, it compiles but there is one error:
  /bin/sh: rpm: not found
