As someone who actually uses Import for its original
intention, namely managing releases of third party
sources on a vendor branch (for other classical Import
scenarios I could use the Recursive Add macro) I'm
really getting more and more frustrated with the Import
Filter dialog whenever I have to use it. This is mainly
because on the one hand I have started to use -kB (i.e.
binary deltas) for all binary files and on the other
hand I always import third party text files with the
-ko option (i.e. no keyword expansion). The -kB I could
define in cvswrappers (and I did) but obviously it
wouldn't make much sense to put -ko in there as well.
In my own sources I definitely do want keywords to be
expanded.

So what I currently have to do is to double-click at
each text file type and set it to "No keywords" then
double-click at each binary type and set it to "Force
to Text" (because that's currently the only way to make
WinCvs *not* pass a -W argument for that type). This is
both tedious and highly unintuitive. Thus I would like
to suggest at least two things:

1. Allow multi-selection and editing of entries (i.e.
multi-select entries by shift-clicking then hit Edit
button once and assign one k-mode to all selected types).

2. Replace the radio group on the file type sub-dialog
with the new keyword control that is already used on
the Diff and Update dialogs. Taking care to distinguish
between "(Server) Default" (i.e. no -W option) and
"Text" (i.e. -t).

There are more suggestions I have about the Import
Filter dialog but these two are currently the "most
pressing ones" for me. ;)
