*** Browser location management ***
1. There is no way to remove a browser location from the
drop-down list in the
rebar, other than manually deleting the P_BrowserLocs
registry variable and
changing the browse location to all desired locations.
2. It would be better if the browser locations were simply
displayed as roots
in the tree view. Windows styles: not
TVS_LINESATROOT (the various browse
locations might be totally unrelated), a user-configurable
TVS_SINGLEEXPAND
might be helpful.
*** Folder management ***
3. It would be extremely nice if one could tell WinCVS to
ignore specific
subdirectories once and for all. (I can't currently do an
update with "Create
missing directories" because I'll get all sorts of stuff that
I don't need). It
would be even nicer if WinCVS displayed the directories
that are in CVS but not
on disk (I don't know whether this is easy or not though).
Ideally, I'd like to
have the same statuses for folders as for files as far as
they make sense (and
the same icons as well). This will give me non-CVS,
unknown, ignored, missing,
add pending, changed (i.e. there's a changed file
somewhere in it - may be too
slow to be feasible, though the shell notifications could
be used to keep track
of such things).
*** Context menu ***
4. It would be nice if the "Customize this menu..." dialog
had buttons for "New
script", "Edit script" and "Delete script". This would
make it easier to add ad-
hoc commands.

    1. Done (del when drop down selected)

    2. Move the combo box into workspace pane (modules)
instead. These are too long to waste the space in the tree
    control itself)

    3. This should be solved by defining or specifying the modules
and doing the checkout instead of update.

    4. Sounds like a good idea and something to do when time
    permits.
