Change default value of MAILHOST to 'localhost'. This seems to
be necessary to work with Python 2.2, because smtplib in 2.2 uses
the new socket.getaddrinfo() function, and that function doesn't
handle the empty string (at least not on Linux or FreeBSD).
Closes SF bug #571061.
