Does neither compile nor run in Ubuntu 14.04

Hi,

1 I tried to run the binary x64 cvassistant in ubuntu 14.04, but got despite all xcb
packages are satisfied by running 'ldd libqxcb.so' inside the plaform
directory:

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt
platform plugin "xcb".

Available platform plugins are: eglfs, kms, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl,
offscreen, xcb.

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

2 Therefore I tried to compile from the source, yet:

3 I installed qt5.7 as described at
https://wiki.qt.io/Install_Qt_5_on_Ubuntu and imported the cvassistant
source to qtcreator, yet, the errors as as same as in above 2.

How to make cvassistant run? Thanks!
