    Hi there,

ECS : Though I won't be using it for years, it's a pity I couldn't find the currency of Ecuador in the database. Is it possible ?

XPF : The French Polynesia is using the F CFP (Franc de la Communauté française du Pacifique / Franc for the French Community of the Pacific) and there was, once, the F CFA (Franc de la Communauté française d'Afrique / Franc for the French Community of Africa). Today, the F CFP (iso code = XPF) is not submitted to an exchange rate with Euro but there is a French regulation defining a conversion ratio. According to this regulation, 1000 F CFP = 8,38 euro and it is a CONSTANT VALUE. Therefore, I'd like the XPF not to change at each DB update. Is it possible ?

    Cheers,
    Fred

ECS (Ecuador Sucre) is not there because it is not used any more according to my information. Since 2000 Ecuador uses the US Dollar.
      See e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecuadorian_sucre

Regarding XPF and XAF/XOF, since they are fixed to the Euro I will move then to
the fixed rates part. Hence they will not occur anymore in the update database.
      Saves 2 entries ;-).

      Thanks for pointing this out.

ECS : I didn't know about the use of the USD in this country. I'm planning a business trip there in 3 months and I used to rely on FX Pilot and their exchange rates. They are still providing the ECS. But you are right, even the website of the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs concurs. That's one more good reason why I dumped FX pilot to Currency !

XPF : I'm not sure about the XAF/XOF but I'm certain about the fixed conversion ratio between XPF and EUR, since I'm living both in French Polynesia and France mainland. Thanks for taking that into account.
