Hi folks, Transparent spreading of incoming network traffic load across CPUsis a new feature in kernel. If/when at least a partial packet processing is done in kernel, it can have strong advantages. When userland packet processing is done, to take advantages will require re-write of applications dealing with traffic. http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_2_6_35#head-94daf753b96280181e79a71ca4bb7f7a423e302a Take care Truly, Robert Iakobashvili, Ph.D. Home: http://www.ghotit.com Blog: http://dyslexia-blog.ghotit.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/ghotit ......................................................................
