     I'm sorry to be so much trouble.  I will wait for further
instructions when you have something new for me to test.  And that
time I'll use a 200K file instead as you have requested.  The test
file in this case was about 4.5MB.  Now that you can reproduce it you
know the bug is real at least :-)
