Just noticed that Macromedia is releasing a major upgrade for their 
Flash product called Flash MX.  They're talking rich client 
experiences and building user interfaces.  I suppose it is a logical 
step for them.  It looks to me like it costs $499 to buy what you 
need to develop with this product.

Was pleased to see that Curl just got $7 million and had a major 
shakeup of its board and top management with the emphasis to be 
on making Curl "ubiquitous in the Web community."

Let's hope they can do it.
