Generating medium-sized images
Brought to you by:

One (almost the only ;-) thing I'm missing in curator
is an option to create medium-sized images as a kind of
middle layer:
The index shows small thumbnails, the image page shows
a medium-sized 'preview' (e.g. 800x600), and only by
clicking on the image itself you get the original
full-size image.
This feature is supported by quite a few other gallery
programs, e.g. makethumbs.sh
(http://www.molenda.com/makethumbs/):
http://www.twiddle.net/~hate/pics/2001.12.23/ is one
gallery that it built using such a setup.
The images I'd like to archive are 1600x1200, so it
would be very convenient to have a medium-size
'preview' as a middle step ;-)

In the meantime, I noticed the altrepns is a good start for
the described feature: With a few tweaks to the blais
btemplate, it's possible to setup the image pages accordingly.
What I would suggest to be added is an abstraction of the
generateThumbnails function: It would be nice if one could
specificy not only a single thumbnail size, but a list of
sizes that should be generated.
