#20 Random Crashing On Gentoo

I'm running Gentoo 2004.3 Linux. Whenever I try to run
Cube, (I tried both emerging it from portage and
downloading the binaries), it will run for a few
minutes and randomly freeze. the screen will become
distorted, nothing will respond, but the music will
keep playing. Any ideas on what the problem is?
AMD 2.0 GHZ, nVIDIA Geforce4 128mb, do you need
anything else?
