seems to be a little messed up.. or I'm not understanding the "rules"
sometimes modulators get hidden behind groups if they're not added to the group. If you just "send to front", save the panel, close ctrlr then reopen ctrlr and the panel, the layer ordering is not remembered of the modulator you just sent to front.
The nord lead 2x panel shows a few examples of this - look at the LFO sync combo boxes
again I might not be understanding the rules of using groups as I have a few groups that are simply used as boxes of color (so i can arrange placement of everything in ctrlr and not rely on a photoshop background)
