#128 ctrlr random crashes

using either os x or the latest win nightly I am getting random crashes of ctrlr standalone, while editing several panels. I haven't been able to narrow down whether the bug is due to something wrong with a panel but i am getting random crashes even on a panel with no Lua scripting - the workaround for me has been to disable lua in the prefs.

I have had a series of crashes after opening ctrlr standalone, then closing the panel that was left open (in this case filche's blofeld panel, in another the jp-8080 alt panel with no Lua). right after closing the panel, ctrlr standlone quits. on osx ctrlr will just stop and close with no error. on win 7 x32 I'll get two C++ error dialogues that are very vague. workaround here is just to CTRL+R while opening ctrlr to flush the cache files.
