If you run "ctags --version" you will not see "+regex" in the list of optional compiled features. The problem is with the Cygwin environment. If you look at the output from running "configure", you will probably see a line that states: checking if regcomp works... no Earlier versions of Cygwin had a broken implementation of the regular expression compiler. I added a test to configure which disabled regex support in such a case. I just installed the current version of Cygwin and found that its regex support is now working, so I recommend that you upgrade Cygwin and try again. -- Darren Hiebert <da...@hi...> http://darren.hiebert.com |
