Right now ctags will output a warning

ctags: Warning: ignoring null tag in SomeFile.py

to stdout if I have some incomplete definitions in a python source. I'm using a plugin in vim (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=610) that calls ctags automatically, and when this warning occurs, the vim curses window gets messed up for the rest of the session, which is very annoying.

So I'm proposing that you add a --quiet flag to the ctags command line options to suppress any kind of output like this.

Thanks for the consideration.

that output is actually a bug that is already fixed in Subversion.
