You may take a look at this page with documentation on getting projects uploaded to the central Maven repository:

I don't know if you use any automated system to build CSSToXSLFO, but maybe I may help you to make the transition to Maven...

Thank you for your offer to help. The build system of CSSToXSLFO is an Ant script, which resides in the source distribution. The part that is commented out is the synchronization of the local directory with Pincette, my WebDAV software configuration system.
