It can also be used as stand alone ultra fast Main Memory Database. Hi Prabha, create/insert/select/drop using ODBCDriver is working now. I will submit code once, 1. Minor code comments. 2. Test basic parameters. 3. Run perf test. As SELECT statements are part of DML in database
domain terminology, it is mapped the same way in sql
engine. there is no other specific reason for this.

Hi Team,
I have added new tool cachetable which shall be used
to load tables from any target database using the dsn
specified in csql.conf and unixODBC library.
Also added code, to recover the rows of the table from
target database once it is cached during csqlserver
restart.
Note: mkdir /tmp/csql
if you get any error.
Let us plan to keep operation sync CSQL cache gateway
as first milestone.Later data sync and network sync
shall be planned.
I am planning to concentrate on bug fixing and testing
for next 2 weeks.
Gopal: i will start writing test scripts for odbc.
Hope we are progressing on ODBCAdapter, ODBCDriver and
Gateway.Let me know the progress.

Hi Praba. Say I have 2 tables cached from targetdb1. If in case csqlserver dumps core, cache contents are lost. Do we have some concept of auto-populating cache from targetdb1 ? Like having a cachedtables.conf. More good news.... csql - jdbc is 15-20 times faster
than
mysql(with memory storage engine)- jdbc.

on various topics. I am going to talk about csql and
invite students to join the project. I have uploaded

Check whether you have replaced the input string for
parserr.
README file in src/sql explains about how to do that.
This is a manual procedure we need to follow after we
fix anything in yacc or lex or when we build it first
time.
