The state of my sections are as follows:

- generic load/save/quite buttons:   Complete
- remove alpha-value code:           Complete (I've removed the 
getAlpha() methods)
- button support:                           Complete (including the 
buttons in a separate panel in the window and not overwriting the image)
- chatbot framework (not listed):   Seemingly complete (I can't think of 
much more to do with it)
