What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. new account (here with Poivy)
2. after changing proxy: status is OK
3. calls are possible, but you can just hear the called person, not the caller

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
would expect possibility to talk. But as described above: You can not be heard (just strange noises coming)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.00-12 android 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.

really good work! I do appreciate the interface and design a lot. Also integration in phone very smooth. Would love to use this with my poivy account

    Thanks for your report.

If linked to issue 86, disabling Voice Auto Detection may help at least the other party will hear your voice at a very low level instead of a choppy sound.

Besides, if you can read my last comment ( 7 ) on the issue 86 and test the latest build with all provided audio modes, it could be great and will really help me.

Keep me in touch. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the link to issue 86 is not correct and the problem is something else.

    Ok, thanks for your tests.

If VAD and latest build doesn't help with this issue, you're right, it is probably not linked to 86.

Do you know what is the codec in use for the call?
You can use the new (i)nfo button on the top left corner while in call in order to see it. Codec name and frequency will appear on the second line.

I hope this bug is not due to a specific audio implementation of Samsung :S

Great, it means that you are using ilbc codec, which I have never tested (shame on me).

I'll try to test this codec on my phone to know if it could be the cause of your problem.

    Thanks a lot !

Can be reproduce on other devices :
    Xperia X10
    Samsung Galaxy i7500
Seems to be linked to the audio driver implementation combined with race conditions.
I'll try to do some tests but since the device I can reproduce on are not mine, can take time.

Summary: No audio with Galaxy S i9000, X10, Galaxy i7500
