Droid X 2.2.1

Call will lag like crazy after a few seconds and crash resulting in the red Hang Up screen that will not go away. Old version worked perfectly.

If I don't mistake for droid 2.2.1 you need to have the keep awake while in call option activated so screen should never goes off.

You're device is maybe not properly detected so that it has changed the keep awake while in call option after upgrade.

If so easy to fix :
Switch to ExpertSettingMode (see wiki page), go in User interface settings and activate the option "keep awake while in call".

Then to have your fix benefits all users if you can send me logs from device so that I can see where my autodetection of your device fails and update app so that all users with your device will not experiment the problem anymore :)

    Thx in advance

Yes your right, for some unknown reason on droid 2.2.1 the problem appears independantly of wifi or not. This was discussed on another issue.
Even if I can check cause I have no droid X to test on, I think that they do something with CPU frequency or something like that when screen goes off.

So with the setting "keep awake while in call", as far as you don't turn the screen off by hand (just like for phones that have the PSP behavior); it should be fine over wifi. However what is missing probably is that I do not the "keep awake while in call in 3G cause I thought that it was only needed on wifi for PSP behavior... I didn't thought that a manufacturer could bypass CPU lock. So I have this to add in my code.

As for logs you can get it directly right now using the embedded tool. Just press menu while in csipsimple dialer and help. Here "record logs". Then menu > help again (I don't need you to reproduce the issue, the only thing I need is the device info to get brand, board and device id to add it to autodetection for devices). and when in help press stop and send logs. It will propose to send logs using mail app. Just send it ;)

Oh yes, indeed if setCPU reduc CPU frequency when screen goes off it can explain what you observe :).

But that's a really interesting test. Could you try the latest dev version. I've tried to lock CPU when entering in call. I'd be really interested to know what win... my cpu lock or setCPU. I guess that's setCPU cause it has root permission but could be really interesting to know that.

As for logs you sent I see a 500 error from the server in response to invite you did.
It could be something about dialing plan. Maybe worth to ask on sipsorcery forums.
