Market version is not the latest version :)
There is development version available on download section of this website. It may solve your problem. (try 0.00-15-17).
You could also try to activate STUN and ICE (see FAQ wiki page)

Downloaded Latest version from here, problem still persists but I tried
Methods which I read some where in this forum in which it was suggested that
pressing the hold button and releasing it solves the problem.
I tried it and the sound does come sign you hold and then resume. So it issome problem with the audio settings,
Using csipsimple,15_17, sipgate, stun enabled, ice enabled, tried vice versa but problem persists.

After lot of tests could be linked to a conflict UDP/TCP (some SIP server doesn't manage it well).
Can you try with latest builds :
http://nightlies.csipsimple.com/trunk/
And :
Change your account to an expert account : https://code.google.com/p/csipsimple/wiki/ExpertSettingMode#Account_settings
Then go in Transport and choose UDP (it will enforce the UDP for this account). (It should now be the default setting if you do a new install of the soft or create a new account using sipgate wizard)
Let me know how it goes but it sounds to be the problem.
