An option to allow the use of USSD codes just before starting a VoIP call to redirect any GSM call to voicemail during the call. This is set back to default.

For example :
ussd:**21*
sip:corrrespondant number
call....
end call...
ussd:*#21#

    Interesting idea.
I've to check if that's possible (allowed) in android API.

(Could also be treated as previous issue, but this one is more a SIP feature, so why not integrating it directly to csipsimple).

About this I have a related idea.

Would it be possible to derive the incoming GSM call to another SIP destination possibly a SIP voicemail piece of software? That would imply writing some kind of GSM <-> SIP gateway software... just thinking aloud.

Motivation for this: Here in Argentina we get charged for listening to our GSM voicemails, so it would be nice to be able to store them locally at the phone.

This is not related to SIP/VoIP
You can simply redefine you GSM Voicemail number as your SIP/VoIP line. All the call will be then redirected to your SIP voicemail

    Redirect to voicemail settings:
    Active **61*(voicemail number)**(Nb Sec ringing)# [SEND]
Unactive ##61# [SEND] (Sonne Toujours) (8)
    Check *#61# [SEND]

The trick is replacing the voicemail number by the VoIP number

As GSM is almost standard, It may work (as far as I know, there is some Ericsson equipment in Argentina.
