What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. Nexus One phone
1. Make a call
2. Talk for a while until the screen slide-lock comes on
3. Try to hang up the phone using a) green slider + red button b) red slider

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Slider shouldn't appear, or if it does it should be like the slider system that appears when making a normal call - e.g. proper background, sliding the green slider should immediately unlock and give you access to the hang up button, and sliding the red slider should hang up the call.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest build 15-09

Please provide any additional information below.

Or if something is going wrong with your proximity sensor (what ROM are you using?). Are you putting your finger next to the proximity sensor (above on the left of the screen)?

It has been decided cause of feedback done here by users that own a device with no proximity sensor.
The standard mobile android application doesn't use such a locker since they are not impacted by the wifi psp mode. (search on the issues PSP mode).
According to them a slider is the best way to be sure we don't do unwanted action while in call.

What are you observing instead if you hang up (using your method a) or your method b) ?) Does it hang up immediately or it took a while... else it's issue 245)

Anyway this issue has already been treated multiple times here and you'll found all my explainations about what it is needed and why it has been decided to use it.
And there is an open issue for an option to change this slider into a double tap locker like in the standard android application.
