What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
sometime during the call the phone will start buzzing and then the voice quality drops. We can't hear each other and then the line goes dead but comes back after 10 seconds or so. I don't think it's the Internet connection as I am on wifi and have used my Nokia for almost a year on VoIP and never had interference like this before. It's almost as if a process on the phone is interfering with the call.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Dev 12-35 and VillainRom 12 with HTC Hero.
Please provide any additional information below.
I use the GSM codec since g729 is not available.

Don't be afraid if I consider that calls as long ;). It's not long calls for a user, but that's long regarding the size of an audio frame and the system.

After re-reading your issue, I think that it's link to the issue 211. (I didn't noticed that it was on 12-35)
While on Desire you observe quieter sound, it's possible that you get call cut on Hero.
Do you reproduce with the last build -13-02?
