I was testing the new version and giving missed calls to myself (double check if it rings etc). I know there is a issue with the missed calls not displaying/registering in the top bar. But as I rebooted my phone now I saw that I had 8 missed calls, from myself, and that was when I was testing it, so after reboot they did register in the call log.

Yes, in fact, I add call logs in android call logs subsystem (when call log integration is enabled).
Android check calls logs to add the logs in the notification only after a notification from an app (I guess... I didn't investigate yet) or after the reboot.
That's the reason why, as you have the option integrate to call logs activated, after reboot, you see the call logs in notification bar.

So to solve the problem I have to things to do :
* When not integrated to call logs, I have to manually add 'my' notifications in notification bar.
* When integrated to call logs : two choices
  > I can add the logs as already read add rely on the previous point to notify about missed calls.
  > Or I can investigate what I have to raise to the system to synchronized missed call logs with notification system.
